Promising young artist and painter Teijo Hildén (b. 1984 in Salo, Finland) currenty works in Liminka in northern Finland. His vivid painting style is in strong comparison to the style of the classic era paintings.
For me painting is a natural way to express myself. I started using oil colors at the age of 7 and have continued to do so ever since. In the past few years I have also started to use other techniques, such as pastel colors, aquarelles and ink. The basis of my art is a strong sense of color and shape - a sense that has developed through the years.
